Flume or Swimming Flume

The term „Flume“ is mainly used by Sports Professionals and basically describes a large Counter-Current Pool (CCP) that is in competitive sports.

Counter-Current Pool

This term is mainly used to refer to a Pool with a Counter-Current-System installed that makes Water stream at variable Speeds.

Streaming Water

With the help of Counter-Current-Systems (CCP), the Water is made to flow more or less fast or, as we say, “stream”.

Generally, the following words may be used to refer to a Counter-Current-Pool (CCP), too:

Swimming machine
Swimming treadmill
Swim spa
